Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 5, 2026 · Last Updated: April 5, 2026

Mailburster is owned and operated by Cryvis Software LLP. By using our services, you agree to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.

This policy explains how Mailburster handles subscription refunds, billing disputes, and AWS-related charge responsibilities.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how subscription refunds, billing disputes, and exceptional credits are handled for Mailburster. Mailburster is a software platform fee separate from your customer-owned AWS infrastructure costs.

2. Subscription Fees

All Mailburster subscription fees are billed in advance for access to the platform, including campaign workflows, CSV imports, analytics dashboards, exports, template storage, and premium features based on your plan.

3. No Refunds on Used Billing Periods

Because customers receive immediate access to the software platform, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started. This includes all plans unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement.

4. AWS SES & SNS Charges Are Never Refundable by Mailburster

Mailburster does not collect or invoice for Amazon SES, Amazon SNS, storage, bandwidth, or any other AWS usage fees. These charges are billed directly by AWS to your own account and must be fully borne by the customer. Any disputes related to SES email sending charges, SNS notification costs, bounce destinations, complaint events, click/open tracking events, or AWS overages must be resolved directly with Amazon Web Services.

5. Failed Campaigns & Delivery Issues

Refunds will not be issued for delivery failures caused by AWS SES sandbox restrictions, account suspension, DNS misconfiguration, reputation issues, blacklist events, sender authentication problems, recipient mailbox rejections, or third-party provider outages. Mailburster provides orchestration and analytics software, while final deliverability depends on your AWS and mailbox provider setup.

6. Exceptional Refund Cases

  • Duplicate subscription charges caused by billing errors.
  • Accidental multiple upgrades within the same billing cycle.
  • Platform-wide outages that make the paid plan materially unusable for an extended period.
  • Incorrect plan activation caused solely by a Mailburster billing bug.

7. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current billing period. Your paid features remain active until the end of the existing term.

8. Chargebacks & Abuse

If a chargeback is initiated without first contacting support, we may suspend account access, campaign history, exports, and template storage while the dispute is under review. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.

9. Contact

For billing support or refund requests in exceptional cases, contact billing@mailburster.com within 14 days of the charge.
