Do you send emails from your own servers?
No. Mailburster orchestrates campaigns but emails are sent directly from your AWS SES account. This gives you full control over deliverability and sending reputation.
Do you store my contact lists?
CSV contact lists are processed temporarily for campaign execution and are automatically removed after processing. Mailburster is not designed to act as a CRM.
How much does sending emails cost?
Mailburster pricing only covers campaign tooling and analytics. Email delivery costs are billed separately by AWS SES, typically starting around $0.10 per 1,000 emails.
Can I use Mailburster if my SES account is in sandbox?
No, we currently don't allow sending campaigns via Sandbox accounts.
How are opens and clicks tracked?
Opens are tracked using a lightweight tracking pixel and clicks are tracked via signed redirect links. Campaign analytics are aggregated into a clean dashboard.
Is this a Mailchimp or SendGrid alternative?
Mailburster is not a marketing automation platform. It is a lightweight campaign orchestration tool for developers who already use AWS SES and want a simpler workflow.
Will using Mailburster affect my SES reputation?
